    Delivered in 2002, Arcos was the new design of vessel for worldwide laying and maintenance of telecommunication cables in shallow waters. The vessel's design was provided by Norway's Vik-Sandvik. A particular challenge for the shipbuilder, Viktor Lenac shipyard was that the design process was carried out as the ship was being built, with classification and workshop documentation being supplied in parallel with production.
